It wasn't until I started working in the gold market that I began to develop my interest in jewellery.
We collaborated with a lot of inspirational jewellers in the late Noughties. Legends like Shaun Leane and Stephen Webster. I liked their gothic influences in particular, and Shaun's relationship with Alexander McQueen. It all culminated in a project working with Carine Roitfeld of Vogue, creating a fashion show in Cannes, adorning a cast of thirty models in a range of amazing jewellery pieces from designers around the world.
I went on to study lost-wax casting in Pimlico, London, getting to know jewellers and goldsmiths and their processes.
That's me, and what got me to this point, establishing Silus as a brand for my metalwork.
